Your Position

As a Optimization Algorithm Developer you will spearhead the continuousdevelopment of our general approach to solving complex linear and non-lineartasks at the core of our powerful energy management algorithm. Your specific responsibilitieswill include:

Research and Development

  • Conduct in-depth research on optimization algorithms, focusing on both linear and non-linear problems.
  • Design, develop and continuously improve our mechanism to address the complex optimization tasks at the core of ourenergy management algorithm, leveraging a variety of mathematical solvers.
  • Evaluate solver performance and proactively address any limitations to ensure robust optimization.

In-House Solver Development

  • Contribute to the design, implementation and optimization of our custom, in-house solvers tailored to the specific requirements of our application.

What you bring

Must-have

  • Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a relatedfield.
  • Strong understanding of Linear Algebra, NumericalAnalysis, Optimization Theory, Convex Optimization, Graph Theory, and relevantalgorithmic expertise.
  • Solid Python software engineering skills fordeveloping robust, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Understanding of SciPy, Pyomo or OR-Tools withdemonstrated ability to apply them effectively to real-world optimizationproblems.
  • Basic understanding of GLPK, IPOPT, and CBC solversand their application in optimization scenarios.

Must-have
